I will try to provide a fair critique:
The thing that caught my eye in the thumbnail was the pose. It's dynamic, has a great perspective and looks just the way you'd imagine yourself after going in headlong
very good!
The colours are also nicely done, and fits the setting perfectly, being watery and all.
It looks comic-like, which is a good thing considering it's a fanart of a manga!
Room for improvement would be the hair, as I'd imagine that being a little more out from the head, floating about, and maybe the face expression
These are minor things though!
All in all a good deviation!
I will give an overall 4 stars, with originality being 4.5 because of the pose and underwaterness
